- Acts as a trusted technology advisor for the global PS&PV organization, and contributes to prioritizing demand and establishing the PS&PV technology strategy and roadmap
- Owns and manages business solutions/services delivery vertical at an enterprise level for the Safety Science business capability and the Safety Governance, Communication and Training capabilities
- Is accountable to Patient Safety and Pharmacovigilance for project delivery and operations for these business capabilities
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Accurately capture new demand for Safety Science, Governance, Communication and Training (GCT) and provide reliable cost estimates and innovative technology solutions in line with the DD&IT Technology Strategy
- Define and execute technology delivery strategy for business systems, platforms, and processes for Safety Science and GCT
- Ensure on time, within budget, compliant, secure, and quality delivery of portfolio for Safety Science and GCT, partnering with relevant Enterprise Data, Digital & IT functions
- Ensure services, solutions, platforms, products are fit for purpose and achieve the desired business value and impact
- Run efficient DevOps for platforms, products, or systems ensuring availability and optimal performance for Safety Science and GCT
- Establish governance structure for projects, operations, etc. with the right stakeholder representation for Safety Science and GCT
- Track, report, and deliver against agreed success factors and KPIs for various stakeholders for Safety Science and GCT. Follow industry trends and emerging practices to drive agility, speed, efficiency, and effectiveness
- Ensure the overall user experience is taken into account when designing new solutions and services and Take accountability to ensure adherence to Security and Compliance policies and procedures within the Service Delivery scope.

Education:
- Master’s degree in either a scientific, medical, or technical field
- Project Methodologies (e.g. Agile training);
Experience / Professional requirements
- 12+ years of business and IT experience and proven track record of 6+ years in managing demand and delivering technology solutions in complex IT landscapes
- Experience in business process redesign and change management
- Proven track record in Product Management, Agile and Design Thinking
- Experienced with IT Strategy & Planning
- Extensive experience of Demand Planning and Business Case Development
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Good and broad understanding of Pharmacovigilance (PV) processes and regulations
- Knowledge of project management models and techniques
- A strong background of managing Vendors
- Experience of Computer Systems Validation
